The injury that forced Vitor Belfort out of a featured UFC 139 slot is simply a speed bump on his quest for a UFC title, and he's planning to return to the cage before year's end.
While a recent in-studio guest on MMAjunkie.com Radio, Belfort said he's specifically targeting a return at the year-end UFC 141 event in Las Vegas.
As for a potential opponent, Belfort has his sights on the winner of an upcoming UFC 136 fight between Chael Sonnen and Brian Stann. He'd be happy with either opponent. But for very different reasons.

That would be SICK! But that would leave Anderson Silva with a challenger since the winner of that fight was suppose to get him, I'd rather that happen then Belfort get the winner and then if Bisping beat Mayhem he'd get the title shot...PLEASE NO!

I know Bisping is not deserving of a title shot.............but who honestly we'd get to see him get ko'd prolly in embarassing fashion, who wouldn't wanna see that?

I'd love to see Bisping get ko'd every fight but since he is the UK poster boy, we don't get to see that very often. But if they put him against Belfort we will

Exactly 100% agree...Too bad for Belfort but hes not seeing Silva for at least 2 fights I woudl bet...at least 2 prolly 3 4..
