Johnnie Morton is conscious of the vital role he could play in bringing mixed martial arts to a wider audience. The first truly recognizable athlete to crossover from one of the four major professional sports leagues, Morton will make his MMA debut against Bernard Ackah (1-0) at K-1 “Dynamite USA!!” Saturday, June 2 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
