MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) was on scene and reporting live from today's Strikeforce Challengers 19 fighter weigh-ins, where all but one of the evening's 18 competitors made their bouts official.

Main-event fighters Lorenz Larkin and Nick Rossborough each tipped the scales at 206 pounds.

Today's festivities, which were free and open to the public, took place in the Key West Ballroom of Las Vegas' Palms Casino Resort. The Pearl, also located at Palms Casino Resort, hosts Friday's card.

The evening's main card airs on Showtime.

The only competitor to miss the mark was late addition Quinn Mulhern, who registered 176.5 pounds for his welterweight bout with Danny Davis. Mulhern has been given additional time to lose the remaining weight.

I would love to see Lavar Johnson bounce back and Jason High win and move back into the UFC.

Yeah, I mean, how do you not cheer for a guy like Johnson after what he's been through. People love a comeback story like his.

High is a mixed bag though. Sometimes he looks like he's ready to step up in competition and make a real run, and others he looks like a typical McKee disciple, not yet ready for prime time.

Larkin is fun to watch though, I'm hoping to see him get a bit of a ground game and make some noise in the UFC at some point.

Johnson's story is amazing. I want that guy to be champ of something soon enough.

I honestly haven't watched Larkin fight, but by all accounts, it seems like I've been missing out.

And I agree with you on High, but he's riding a pretty impressive streak. I wouldn't put it past Dana to give him another shot, especially being under the Zuffa umbrella now. If he wins, I'd see him as an injury replacement for anyone at 170.
