It's a busy day at the Zuffa offices.

On the heels of a few massive announcements already made today, UFC president Dana White just announced that Josh Koscheck and Matt Hughes have agreed to meet in the co-feature of this month's UFC 135 event.

Koscheck is a late replacement for Diego Sanchez, who was forced to withdraw from the matchup with a broken hand.

I don't think so, I think Los has proven to be the better fighter, more cerebral, better wrestling when he has chosen to use it, and much more power in his hands

Gonna have to disagree with most of the responses. I think Koscheck is a much worse matchup for Hughes. Kos is gonna be able to keep it standing and he will land one of his bombs. This one'll look like Kos/Trigg.

Matt has better striking, i hope he goes out with a bang, if he goes out for good and retires. Koscheck's lack of a jab, or use of any strikes besides that swinging right has made me bored with his potential. I want Koscheck to train with Douk Rufus, and learn how to strike for real, Kos has definantly improved his striking, but not as much as the hype machine has led us to believe. Kos only knocked out lower tier fighters anyway.

I guess Fitch vs Kos rumors were false?

that's not what will give Hughes fits, its sanchez's aggressivness that would have been too much. Kos isn't gonna come out like sanchez, and that helps Matt IMO

If Koscheck knocks him out, and Hughes does retire, I wonder how long before he's placed in the HOF.

The night of the Fox show would be a nice touch.

There's absolutely no doubt that he's in. He's a pioneer and one of the most dominant champions of all time in the Octagon.

That being said, come on double KO!
