Lightweight contender Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone has agreed to replace Sam Stout in a matchup against Dennis Siver at UFC 137 in October.

Stout is dealing with the unexpected passing of his longtime trainer and brother-in-law Shawn Tompkins earlier this month. UFC officials confirmed the switch to ESPN.com Monday.

Cerrone via own. I seriously think Cerrone has the edge on Siver in every single facet of the game.

I'll take Siver now that he has some decent takedown defense. Cerrone has decent defense on the feet when he's the one landing bombs, but when he's hit two or three times he starts letting his hands down and brawling. I don't see that working against someone like Siver.

Both these guys can throw the leather, but I feel Cerrone's reach will be the biggest factor, along with his leg kicks. Siver is a beast tho, anything can happen. This will be Cerrone's 4th fight this year, already winning his 3 previous UFC fights. And 2 of those have won post fight awards

This should be a great fight. I hope Cerrone puts an end to Siver's lucky run.

Cerrone submits him or gets a decision, either way it should be awesome.

I really don't see Siver winning this fight at all unless he hits Cerrone with a bomb or a perfectly placed spinning back kick of his. Cerrone should take this fight no problem. Either a Sub or a UD for Cowboy in this.
