Before Anderson Silva's UFC 134 victory, UFC president Dana White mentioned Georges St-Pierre as a possible future opponent.

And following Silva's destruction of Yushin Okami in his record ninth straight title defense, White isn't changing his tune.

White said challenges remain for Silva at middleweight, but he said the time is approaching for a cross-division super fight between the UFC's two longest-reigning titleholders.

The 2 fights I wanna see Anderson in at Middleweight are vs Sonnen again and Munoz. Other than that, Anderson vs GSP. If this fight doesn't happen sometime when their both champs I'm gonna be pissed. It would be a fight for the ages

I'd love to see Chael get another crack, but I'm not all that interested in seeing Anderson vs Munoz TBH. I'm not sure how they feel about fighting each other anyway.

I'd much rather see Anderson go to 205

i love the thought of a GSP fight, but when you've cleaned out one division, I think it makes more sense to move up & fight naturally larger fighters than to move down & fight a smaller one

if there weren't good matchups at 205, i'd say yes to GSP. but with matchups like shogun, hendo, rampage, bones, & rashad, I think it makes more sense to make these matchups

i wouldnt be upset w/ a sonnen rematch first. sonnen proved he deserves another shot

Am I the only one who thinks its never gonna happen? Imo theres much more interesting matches I would rather see both in and I think Silva would destroy him.
I would probably pick Munoz and Sonnen over GSP aswell.

This. I'm not really interested in seeing him fight at 185 again.

Agreed, he should jump to 205.

and i completely disagree with a Mark Munoz matchup, do we really need to see the same fight we did on Saturday night? It would end in similar fashion.

I would like to see him move up and fight in a much more competitive division, but there are all those GSP lovers out there that think he would beat Silva that i would like to see proved wrong.

The only person I'm remotely interested in seeing Anderson fight at 185 is Sonnen, I'm not really sure what matchups Dana is talking about, because Anderson has clearly annihilated the entire division.

I am so sick of people pushing this Silva/GSP fight. THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!! What does make sense is Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones. PUSH THAT FIGHT. Besides Nick Diaz is going to take care of GSP and then we won't have to worry about any GSP/Silva fight.

Thats great Dana, as you have said this many times before. One problem though, GSP does not want to fight Silva.

As much as i'd love to see that fight, i disagree to an extent... Jones hasn't even defended his belt yet, there are a few matchups at 205 for Jones, much like there is for Anderson. The thing is, we're talking about two guys who have beaten their division senseless, and should GSP get through Diaz, i think this fight should happen, otherwise their divisions will become a two fighter revolving door.

Man seriously I think GSP will get killed...I doubt he gets close to Silva without taking a serious punch or kick that leaves him wobbly..

I would put money all day on Forrest Griffin over GSP...and look what happened to Forrest...

As a fan really Silva should fight Shogun....Or Rampage....THose will test him...GSP cant finish guys in his own weight...So Dana thinks he can take on SIlva..

THis is utterly crazy...I dont see GSP jumping at the chance of this or prolly even thinking about it...

Guys for GSP before this fight...Brian Stann....Chael Sonnen would grind a win more than likely...

White is dreaming for GSP to do this fight hed have to put on adequate weight as in muscle or he will get embarrassed...Which would keep GSP on the shelf for a year...

White wants the fight for money cauase I dont see much as an even match...

wow i wrote this post without reading...I assumed all the knuckleheads here would be like yea yeah yeah...thank god we are on the same page with this one...

Yeah Silva aint fighting Munoz...I personally think styles make fights and if Brian Stann can be fearless he could beat Silva..

Its a case where you gotta go in ready to whip ass and dont be scared..
