Brazil may currently be the focus of the MMA world, but the Ultimate Fighting Championship is already looking toward its October plans in Houston.
While MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) first announced that October's UFC 136 would feature a "UFC Prelims" special on Spike TV, the world's biggest MMA promotion has now made the plans official.

These are some solid matchups. I'm excited for both of these actually, that doesn't happen very often for prelims. I think maia will take the fight with Santiago, the fight between Pettis and Stephens is a tougher one to pick. Pettis should come in more determined for this fight, but Stephens has that crazy power. It's gonna take awhile for me to pick on for that fight
