Fans are not likely to see Rich Franklin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira rebooked for a later date.

Franklin, a former middleweight champ, is being eyed for a different light-heavyweight fight, according to UFC president Dana White.

"We do like the idea of Tito (Ortiz) vs. Rich Franklin," he said today during an official UFC video chat hosted by Ustream.

I'd love to see Franklin whoop up on Tito for three rounds.

I love to see Tito take a beating but I really do not like this match up. In my most humble opinion , all Franklin needs to do is show up and he wins.

Yeah, but I doubt they'd be a main event.

Honestly I think Tito wins easy. He was just able to take Rashad down I think he could fairly easily take Rich down for 3 rounds like Forrest did.

he took Rashad down once in their second, the first fight isnt worth mentioning, Rich would tool him for a UD, he's better on the feet and on the ground, and he doesnt have a lazy guard because he isnt an adapted wrestled like Rashad.

Franklin east UD or late TKO.

Rich would get taken down and beat up for the first, and come back and win, Tito is hard to finish, but since Rashad used knees well, I bet Rich could too.

Franklin can't stop the takedowns, and can't submit him. His chance to win is entirely dependent on how early Ortiz gasses, IMO. Tito's fight to win stylistically.

The Math Teacher via one sided beatdown

except the math teacher cant stop a damn takedown and that's exactly what Tito wants to do. Don't get me wrong, it will be a good fight, but not the one sided beatdown your predicting

Damn good fight if Franklin even takes it, he ducked Gustaffon because he doesn't wanna lose again unless hes paid against a good name which he shouldnt back down from this.

And people are crazy to think Franklin stands a chance. Forrest > Franklin, and Tito beat Forrest in my eyes 2x. Not MMA math, just saying overall Forrest brings more to the table and Tito I think beat him twice, Franklin brings nothing Forrest doesnt, maybe a tad more power but Tito will grind him out.
