An undisclosed injury has forced Josh Grispi (14-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) out of October's UFC 136 event.

In his place steps featherweight replacement Nam Phan (16-9 MMA, 0-2 UFC), who now takes on Matt Grice (13-4 MMA, 1-4 UFC) at the event, officials recently announced.

Featuring a championship doubleheader, UFC 136 takes place Oct. 8 at Houston's Toyota Center.

The evening's main card airs on pay-per-view. However, Phan vs. Grice is expected to take place on the evening's preliminary card.

Same here. I'm surprised he's fight so soon. Mike Brown must have done very little damage at 133

Idk Nam took a beating in the first

But I'm pulling for Nam b/c he deserves a win from that Garcia fight and Grice hasn't done much when he's gotten to the UFC.

Phan is the most unlucky fighter in the UFC. Got robbed against Garcia and honestly I had him beating Brown because IMO he won the last 2 rounds. At worst he deserved a draw if you scored the first round 10-8

Phan's takedown defense looked much improved against a very good wrestler in Brown. Grice isn't quite as versatile, and doesn't have the suffocating top game of Brown either. I think Phan can pick his spots in this one and walk away with a close desicion.

I gave round 3 to Brown. I would have a hard time giving it to Phan.

I remember brown not being able to compete take downs and stalling when he couldn't get them. I think he landed 1 clean take down and phan bounced back up and resumed his standing on slaught. And I picked brown to win so this post has 0 bias.

I thought it was a very close fight between Brown and Phan. Had it been judged by Pride rules, this could have been a split decision but according to the 10 pt must system, I felt Brown stole the third round.

I actually had the fight 29-28 Brown and thought the last round was a 10-10. But afterwards even though Brown had won the decision(in my eyes), i thought Phan walked away as clearly the better fighter.

I know what you mean, for example I scored the rampage vs machida fight 29-28 because the first 2 rounds were so dull and uneventfull but rampage was busier and even though Machida lost on the scorecards I thought he walked away the better fighter.
