The Raid: Redemption

Non stop action. Some great martial arts fights. Basically a SWAT team goes after a drug lord in a huge apartment building, and all hell breaks loose. Let's just say quite a bit of blood gets spilled.

my brother loves this movie. I've watched bits here and there and it looks fairly entertaining

The Cabin in the Woods- I was expecting more from it with the hype that was behind it. Not bad tho and it had a interesting concept. Funny in parts and true horror in others, it did a good job of blending it all together but I wanted more from it

Agreed.

If it wasn't for the total out of left field story I would have walked out half way through. Definitely different

Exactly what my wife and I felt when the movie ended. We thought, huh, that was interesting. The ending was pretty cool when all hell was breaking loose.

The Cabin in the Woods was exceptional IMO. To each their own, I guess.

Bloodrayne 3- the funny thing is I watched a movie called Blubberela Sunday night that was a comedy that was the spoof of this movie. I had no idea until I started watching. I was going "wtf? This has the same people in it...and the same costumes....and the same....hold on" I looked it up and they were filmed simultaneously by the same guy. Only difference is Bloodrayne has a hot leading lady and the spoof has a fat Bastard type chick as the lead

Just watched this and it was meh. I liked the first one the best. Rayne in first (Kristanna Loken) was was much hotter than in 2 and 3, although Natassia Malthe is pretty hot. At least there were a ton of boobies Fight scenes were ok, camera shooting was kinda shitty, but Malthe's jugs are a beaut.

I agree. 2nd favorite movie this year. Did a great job of poking fun at the horror genre while being a great movie at the same time.

The Cable Guy

Jim Carrey seriously is hilarious in this one

Tenacious D also has a lesser known cameo in this movie

Superman II

The ideal example where the second film was MUCH BETTER than the original.

Clark getting his ass kicked in the diner reminded me of Forrest....well, minus the crying like a baby part

I liked it. I wont go as far as calling it the 2nd best of the year, but it was pretty funny. I liked the concept of this horror, its not generic. And the black guy didn't die first

I think somebody here watched it recently. Old school Lionsgate film of couple crashing their boat, and end up in some remote fishing town, with a bunch of cult worshippers. Best part of the movie was when the leading actress is tied up naked, and hanging chained from a ceiling. Let's just say the movie is worth a watch just for those few minutes. Even Chael_Sonnen would agree, those breasts are perfection.

That's an HP Lovecraft(The Call of Chthulu guy) story, I've seen the movie and it's not great, I wish someone would do one of his stories justice because a lot of them are mindbenders. He's so unappreciated.

Just watched The Game again for the first time in years because of it being brought up on here, and it was really good. I didn't remember a lot of it, so I'm glad you guys recommended it.
