Hey dunno if u guys have ever had jacks jerkey in those little packs u can buy for 2.99 but there an awesome snack I was wondering if it is a good snack food for trying to lose weight or to have in a diet?

I love me some beef jerky...and well, just about any jerky for that matter. It's a good source of lean protein. The only real down side is that it's high in sodium. Personally, I don't use table salt at all, so I don't let something like that get in the way of enjoying a delicious snack like jerky, since it all balances out. If you're in the middle of a weight-cut though, you may want to resist...too much sodium makes you retain water.
Edit: I would say that it's fine to have in your normal diet...it's just not the best when your actually doing a cut.

A lot of jerky has a ton of sodium, you may wanna try to find some that's better nutrition wise. You may lose some taste but if your serious about losing weight it might be worth a shot
