dana white and the ufc have been talking a lot about adding a flyweight division(125 lb) to the ufc. Ive heard arguments for both sides on whether this is good for the orginization. What does the playground think?

Ummm, why would it be bad? What's the argument for the other side? Zuffa's already got a handful of guys who truly belong at 125. They're just biding their time until the division opens up. The bottom line is this: Little guys bring the fight; and they go forever.
Zuffa's not going to bring in scrubs; and they won't enter into the process of fleshing out a new division unless they believed there was enough top talent to sustain said division. Simple.
There isn't a downfall side to the argument.

the main arguments that i have heard is that the ufc is turning into boxing. with too many weight classes, too many title holders at weights that are too close.
The other(and i completely disagree with this one) is that its not exciting to watch smaller guys bc of the lack of finishes
i personally like the new division and think it will help the ufc

I don't think its a bad idea. How many guys can you find in that divisions.....its surprising to me that grown men can weight 125lbs
