Should be a solid fight, but don't have much interest in seeing Faber/Cruz 3 anytime soon.

I like this fight a lot. It could go either way. Slightly leaning towards Faber though.

I disagree. Faber just fought the title, and I'm tired of seeing him taking the easy routes to title contention, and honestly I'm not at all interested in seeing Cruz/Faber 3 so soon. That's something that should wait at least a year or two.

Oh hell yes. Awesome post, I could not agree more. If I didn't have to spread the love....
This is almost what was being discussed in the Fitch thread. The popular, undeserving fighters getting a crack at title shots over the guys who have actually been putting in hard work. Yeah, you want to have fights that are marketable and will make money. But in my mind, having the hardest working, most deserving fighters fighting who they should, when they should, will do more for your company than anything.
I hope Urijah doesn't win. I don't want him getting another title shot after one win. Plus, Bowles-Cruz is marketable. It's almost the same exact story as Cruz-Faber 2.

Agreed.
The question you have to ask yourself is:
Do we want MMA to go the road of a legitimate sport? Or in 10years do we want it to be almost indistinguishable from professional wrestling?

I agree with Fastknockout and Pmoney.
Furthermore, I would like to add Bowles barely fought Cruz a year ago and for him to face Cruz again in such a short amount of time, it is a no, no for me.
If Faber defeats Bowles, he should need at least two more wins before he contests the title again IMO.
If Bowles defeats Faber, I would like to see one more win from him before he contests the title.

I thought maybe Bowles would get a title shot, but Might Mouse makes sense too. This should be a sweet fight, Bowles is one of my newer favorite fighters, I hope he takes it to Faber.

I love both of these guys. It's going to be tough to root for one over the other. Good match up though.

Man Urijah will win this easy...He has a great chin and can wrestle...Bowles hasnt fought anyone like Faber...ANd more than likely he will break his hand or it will hurt enough that Urijah will notice and be all over him...
I think Bowles is pretty much almost done in MMA and it will be because of his hands...
