Wow! The thought of these two meeting at Welterweight never even crossed my mind, lol. I would love to see BJ touch Nate Marquardt up, I would just laugh my ass off.

hm... I actually might pick BJ in this fight if it were to ever happen (which I'm sure it won't). Nate obviously is going to be way bigger and stronger, but BJ clearly has way better and faster hands, and Nate's takedowns are pretty lackluster, he's more of a bully you around and drag you down to the ground kind of takedown guy, which I really think is probably the worst way to try to take BJ down.

Not sure. Nate's strength advantage would be pretty massive.

This is just one of the many reasons why I have chosen to walk the plank while onboard the Penn.

BJ vs Marquardt could be a huge cash cow to bad it won't ever happen.

Though for the sake of picking I would have to go with Nate... He's just clearly the much stronger fighter and would also have a HUGE size advantage.

Lets be fair, BJ is an excellent WW and an even better LW but he can't handle a bigger 2 division athlete such as Nate.

Also to be fair we have yet to see Nate at 170 and don't know what he's capable of... but i saw the video of him at 170 and he looked incredible. Didn't look drawn out or anything. (And i don't think he was cheating)

Boy I would much rather see this than Condit vs Penn.... Condit vs FItch is more intriguing to me.

Condit vs FItch
Penn vs Nate
Diego vs Hughes
Koscheck vs Thiago II
Swick/Brennemen vs Rumble/Alves
Shields vs Ellenberger
Diaz vs GSP

Thats what i would do as match maker of the UFC.

And just so I do not confuse any of you - I enjoy trash talk just as much as the next guy. I have told you guys I like Sonnen and Mir but this attack by Penn seems personal and I do not appreciate it.

At welterweight? are you serious? he couldnt even make 180...Bj would have his way with a dehydrated, muscle depleted Nate.

Lol, yeah. What are you talking about Cooler? Marquardt has videos of him weighing in close to 170 hours before the weigh in and he looked good. I think Nate at WW will be a force. I'm just wondering where he's going to go if Bellator doesn't want him.

He was weighing around 182 on weigh in day if im not mistaken

As far as force, lets see if he can stay clean and prove he can make 170 first
