Challenge extended.

And if the UFC wants it to happen, challenge accepted.

Just days after UFC lightweight title contender Melvin Guillard offered up the name of Joe Lauzon as a possible opponent so he could fight at UFC 136 in Houston, he has an answer.

I love you, Joe-zon!

(but please don't do this to yourself...)

Agreed! I don't want to see him get beat up. Guillard is a monster these days.

I love this guy. Quiet and unassuming then it hits the ground and your left asking the ref what happened

That's what's up! Love this kid's attitude. Not the most intelligent decision, but if he does manage to beat Guillard, he'll be back near the top.

Guillard isn't Ruediger or Warbuton, J Lau is not gonna just take his arm off in like 2 minutes lol

Just saying

You do know that 7 of Guillard's 8 career losses have come as a result of a submission, right? I don't think Joe will sub Melvin, but to laugh it off as if Melvin's known for his sub defense is quite laughable in and of itself.

I'm picking Guillard but it's a very winnable fight for Lauzon.

Lauzon is a handful for any fighter in the first round.
