Leben vs Munoz, is the one I would prefer. Two power strikers.

Munoz would be a fight that makes more sense for Leben to have but Maia & Leben would also be a great fight.

I'd say give him Belfort (so long as he beats Sexyama) I'd like to see Munoz vs Stann for a title shot, someone needs to make a claim for the next title shot soon or else the division will get stagnant.....same with WW.

Leben has never fought Maia, or Sobral......and when he fought Anderson he lost via KO (knees). Chris Leben's Professional MMA Record
Secondary Proof Of Leben's MMA Record

Both would be intense I'm sure we'll see both eventually. But I think the best fight for him has been suggested, put him against Belfort for sure.

I tend to agree with this statement. I would not mind seeing either fight. And while Munoz has come a ways since his WEC/ Light Heavyweight days, I think he is the more winnable fight for Leben. Leben TKO'ed the A-Train, one of Munoz's buddies, who is almost a carbon copy of Munoz. Style wise, I feel Leben has a good chance.
Maia would be a little bit tougher of a nut to crack, although I feel Leben can do it. I was just amazed with how sharp Maia's stand up looked compared to his past performances. He's not KO'ing Leben (or anyone else for that matter, IMO) any time soon. But his strikes can set up that world class BJJ game. So that is a much different threat than the smothering ground and pound that Munoz threatens with.
It will be interesting to see who Leben's next match up is! Stann-Sonnen is booked, which for all intents and purposes could be a #1 contenders bout. Bisping and Mayhem are slated to fight around December, I believe. Leben just dispatched Wanderlei, Munoz just beat Maia, who is already booked to fight Jorge Santiago.....
I could have sworn I read a report that Leben's camp didn't want a fight with Munoz though..... Hmm... What's next for Leben?
