All is fair in love and war… and television contract negotiations, evidently. The UFC and longtime broadcast partner Spike TV hit a snag in negotiations recently when the network counter-programmed a live UFC event on Versus.

Whats that suppose to mean? He's gonna get them back possibly at their next spike tv award show and counter program or I owe you one as in I owe you a badass fight card because we got have gotten well over a million on spike?

I understood it as meaning that, once the UFC's done with Spike and they (Spike) do pick up another MMA promotion, he's going to counter program the sh*t out of it.

That's pretty much how I took it as well.

I actually saw it differently - Dana tends to wear his emotions on his sleeve and was pretty composed in that interview. That tells me negotiations with Spike are probably still viable and he is not going to go after their jugular if it is somewhat probable that a deal could work out with them. He was pretty tame there.
