A non-title superfight between heavyweight champion Cole Konrad (7-0 MMA, 2-0 BFC) and Paul Buentello (29-13 MMA, 0-0 BFC) has been added to August's Bellator 48 lineup.
A heavyweight fight between UFC vets Ricco Rodriguez (46-11 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Seth Petruzelli (13-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC) also is set for the event.
Bellator officials announced the fights on Saturday.

Eh not excited for either. Rather see someone who will stand with Buentello.

Damn that's a name I havn't heard in a while. Ricco Rodriguez. Whatever happened to him last fight I saw him he was overweight and was fighting Rothwell. Did he lose weight cause made me sad to see him that out of shape.

i guess Konrad by lnp to build up his name, though i hope its a nice KO win for Buentello.
RR vs Petruzelli i think can be an entertaining fight. hopefully Seth doesnt get hurt too bad so he can backup Shamrock a month later

I'm interested to see Ricco Rodriguez back in a relatively big show. He's on an 11 fight win streak, and I want to say he's like 19-5 since fighting Rothwell.
Edit: It should be noted, however, that during his 11-fight win streak, arguably his biggest win was over James McSweeney.

I've found that if you lay on your side on the couch while you watch; it almost looks like they're standing.
