So I'm making my picks for this Sunday's event, and see this fighter facing MJ, and was wondering who he was. I'm not going to pick against him unless I do some research. I check out his Sherdog record...
The dude is 2-1. His first fight was againsy a dude that is currently 0-2, his second fight was against a guy that is currently 0-1. His next fight was against Njukuani at WEC 52...where he got worked hard.
Now the guy is in the UFC?
I did some research and he was brought into the WEC as a late replacement. He was just in the right place at the right time. Then WEC merged with the UFC, and somewhere along the way he just got caught in the shuffle. Which is strange because the WEC releases guys like Varner and LC Davis right before the merge but then keeps this guy. It seems as if somebody didn't even know who he was, and then Joe Silva was like...who the heck is this guy we have under contract, huh, go fig...well, guess I gots to give him a match.
lol.
In all reality this isn't fighting bashing, I'm just pointing out a very odd situation that one very lucky fighter has found himself in.
I really hope Faaloloto picks up the win and makes the most out of this oppertunity.
Also with a name like Faaloloto, how can you not root for him.

Yeah, but who knows how his contract worked from the WEC.
Guys like Varner and LC could have had expiring contracts and weren't resigned or could have been released if they had losing streaks.

Faaloloto came to the attention of the UFC-WEC through past training connections with Chris Leben. Here's the link which tells more about him and what he's been through his life. This article was released before his WEC debut.

Bump, considering Falolman is now 2-3 and on the main card of Leben vs Munoz.

often we see guys like this. Its usually someone who has training connections linked to big gyms/fighters, and prodigys like cain, people who are a sure thing to make an impact and they dont wanna miss picking up so they do it early.
