1. Sweeney Todd (it's not all that scary but I love that movie. It's a Musical/Horror) 2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, all of them. 3. Hostel. That movie was pretty gruesome 4. Poltergeist 5. The Exorcist

I'll go 10 instead of 5, just because (in no particular order):
1. Session 9 (anyone who likes suspenseful horror movies that don't rely on gore, NEEDS to see this) 2. Martyrs 3. The Thing 4. Jaws 5. [REC] 2 (one of the few instances when the sequel out-does the original) 6. The Blair Witch Project (this is a love it or hate it movie, and I personally thought it was brilliant because it was such a realistic scenario) 7. The Orphanage 8. The Ruins (not a very well respected film, but I thought it was an excellent film done in the old school style) 9. The Sixth Sense (this is a horror movie, but for some reason is not treated as such...no idea why) 10. Let the Right One In
Runner Up:
Dawn of the Dead (the remake, which blows the original out of the water. George Romero is one of the most over-rated directors in the history of cinema. His only real good movie in the series is the original, the other ones are just random gorefests)
Saw (the original only)
The Others
Movies I want to see:
Frontier(s) Inside
Popular movies I think are overrated:
Audition (dreadfully boring, and the shock scenes just aren't that bad in my opinion)
