"Da Spyder" is going to have to find somewhere else to weave his web.
That's because Kendall Grove (12-9) has been released by the UFC following a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Tim Boetsch at the recent UFC 130: "Rampage vs. Hamill" event on May 28.

I was wondering when this would happen. His game just seemed like it hadn't evolved much.
I guess back to the small shows, gain some wins and wait for a injury to fill in for UFC.

I think the only reason it has taken this long is because he was a TUF winner.

You guys are harsh...I guess I had more hope in his potential. At the end of the day, I suppose he wasn't cutting it.

He was always whatever to me. Seemed as though the fame of being in the UFC caught up with him after beating Alan Belcher, and he just went downhill from there.

guy went what 7-5 in the UFC, beat some decent guys...Alan belcher, Evan Tanner, Jake Rosholt, Goran Reljic....I mean, you guys are giving him too much hate.
Kendall Grove was never championship material but he was UFC level. I agree with the cut, but not the hate he's gettin. I suppose according to keyboard warriors nowadays, unless your good enough to be champion your not UFC material. Seriously, with this mentality each division would only have 6 fighters in it.
If you are good enough to be considered top 30 in the world, then your good enough for the UFC. Plain and simple. Grove may have dropped slightly below that and hence got cut, but in all reality he had a decent run.
