A heavyweight match-up is in the works for UFC 135 in Denver as Ben Rothwell looks to return to action as he faces former K-1 fighter Mark Hunt on the card.

Meh, don't really like the match up.

I feel there are other opponents they could face that would be better match ups.

B/c if Rothwell decides to trade with Hunt and gets hit. Then Rothwell just takes it to the floor the rest of the fight or he does that from the beginning.

I am. I like watching hunt especially when they put him against a striker.

this will be another fight like the one he had against Yveil. I wanna see Rothwell fight a tough wrestler rather than a standup fighter with no takedown defense imo.

I don't know why the ufc has not tried to market Hunt. He has limited MMA training but if you put him against a brawler/striker, what you get is fireworks.

Let's face it, Mark will probably never get a title shot but as long as the ufc has him, they should pit him against strikers and it would make for entertaining fights.

Furthermore, Hunt is one of those fighters who have good stage presence. The man brings very little mma into the arena, but what he does bring is an aura of greatness which can only be obtained by certain fighters.

Whaaaaaaaack. Nobody wants to see Rothwell hump him for 15 minutes.Hopefully Hunt can knock him out quickly. Still think Gilbert Yvel was robbed of a stoppage in that 2nd round.

Barnett, Emelianenko, Overeem, Manhoef, Mousasi, McCorkle...

That's why. He's simply not that marketable. He wouldn't even be in the UFC if it weren't for lingering contractual obligations leftover from the PRIDE buyout.
