Come heavy, or not at all.

Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson is hoping a "rejuvenated" Fedor Emelianenko will bring the noise when they hook 'em up at the Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Henderson" event set to go down on July 30, 2011, at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

This is mixed martial arts (MMA) and like Big Daddy Kane once said: Ain't no half steppin'.

Wouldn't it be funny....

If Hendo beat Fedor
And Rampage beat Jon Jones
And Hendo and Rampage fought to unify the Strikeforce and UFC Light Heavyweight title?

I kind of feel like Dan Henderson is in a tough position because even if he wins a lot of hardcore Fedor fans will say things like " Oh, he just beat him at the low end of his career" or "There's no way that would have happened 4 years ago". Also, it was probably announced a long time ago but I forgot what weight this fight is taking place at does anyone know?

It would be funny...

And you know what? I have been a long time Fedor fan (still am) but I think Hendo can get it done.

I hear ya, Kung Fu (hey! That was an AWESOME NES game!). I have been a Fedor fan since back in the Pride days. And I am still a fan. But I think I am a bigger Hendo fan.

And this fight is huge! The dude who went undefeated for a decade, won the Dream HWGP, and the Heavyweight champ, fighting the Pride Middleweight and Welterweight Champion, current Strikeforce LHW champ (soon to be SF MW champ too haha).... crazy fight.

I just hate that they both can't win!
