The first betting line has been released for a future UFC light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, and it seems that the current champion is a heavy favorite out of the gate. Obviously the fight hasn't been booked yet, but bookies always jump on lines quickly if a bout is likely to happen. Bookmaker has is the one offering the line:

This talk of Machida possibly getting the next shot is annoying.

Two losses and then a win over a very 47 year old Randy Couture.

What?

Has alot to do with who else is there at this monent. I agree its hard to justify but say hamill beat page.....Who could you put in? Other then shuffling the deck with Evans Machida and Rampage are the only other contenders.

I'd put money on Rampage being able to take Jones, for sure. He won't be able to out-muscle Rampage, nor take him down at will.

The odds make sense in my mind. Considering where both are at in their careers.

Hey Warglory!!

Are you serious? Dude Ryan Bader is every bit as strong as Rampage and a better wrestler.....The length factor and being a great wrestler make you that much more a better wrestler....

Jones will destroy Rampage unless he gets hit with a one in a million shot...Which can happen but only once in a million times...

and why not? I think its great that they do but Im a betting guy...I do hate things like odds on maybe fights that arent even close to happening like Silva and GSP though...but in same division I have no problems...

There's no such thing as "one in a million" or "punchers chance" and Bader will never crack the top 10 (even if he was in your top 10) he will never be as good as Rampage, your post is ridiculous.

I can't really think of anyone at 205 that Jones wouldn't have these kinds of odds against.

I really think that other than Anderson if he happened to move up, there's not really a lot of people that could break +200 against Jones until he shows some kind of real weakness. I don't think his striking is all that it is cracked up to be, but his length, speed, and explosiveness more than make up for any weakness in his technical striking ability.

Calling Jon Jones a heavy favorite against Rampage is like saying you need to drink water to keep living.

Bader may have better wrestling credentials but Rampage has better mma wrestling.

Bader also gasses early and has ugly striking. I'd go as far as saying Bader is worse than Rampage in every single facet of the fight game.

Bro, chill out. You're getting a little bit too aggressive. I've noticed you doing this a lot actually and I'm starting to get a little fed up.
