He can apply but will be denied and then have to wait a year to apply again. That's how I'm interpreting this. He's basically still screwed.

The CSAC is made up of inadequate self-serving politicians. What's ironic about this whole thing is that the CSAC is on the wrong end of many, many questionable outcomes and has never once admitted their own wrong doing - And yet the whole issue here is that Sonnen hasnt came forward honestly?

So what this backtrack boils down to is that the Commission had misinterpreted one of their own rules, acting extensively on this misinterpretation before anyone noticed?

yes. To fix this they will allow Sonnen to apply for a license, which he then has to appear in front of them for another hearing where they will ask him the same questions to which they will get different but equally unacceptable answers and they will say "LOLDECLINED" . see you next year!


they are playing games with Sonnen and the only example they are setting to other fighters is:

Dont fight in California!
