The more and more i read and talk 2 people this is lookin like a good possibility. Ive also heard that this could take place in rio!! I dont personally see this taking place in rio, but if it did, that would be insane.

At first i was thinkin BJ would take this matchup, but the more i think about i would pick Jake. I see him actually sticking 2 his gameplan and getting the fight 2 the ground, where he probably keeps top position for most of 3 rounds, but never being able 2 tap Penn. But who really knows this is just my opinion.

Do u guys like this matchup?? And who do u thinks wins??

Not a chance does this happen. BJ by knockout in the first!

Hard fight to call if it does happen. It will all come down to can BJ stay on his feet? He's known for having sick flexibility and some of the best takedown defense in the game. Can Jake take him down? Because if he can't he loses this fight.

I'm even less interested in this than BJ vs Fitch 2. It might as well be BJ vs Fitch 2,

I'm a tad more interested in this than Fitch/Penn 2. If Fitch was able to grind BJ down then Jake should be able to do the same. Jake by UD all day.

Yeah I'm wondering what BJ did to get all these bad matchups? Dude is a natural 155 and they have him fighting wrestlers that could fight and compete at 185.

How's your "therapy" going? Ready to man up to the commission this week?

BJ needs to go back to LW. Shields will get KTFO though. Bj won't hesitate to pounce like GSP did when he catches Jake.

Jake wont get a single takedown. He only uses trips from the clinch at a high success rate, and thats exactly what BJ defends better than anyone else in the sport. The reach is also, hilariously enough, close to equal. I'd bet Penn in a similar manner as the diego fight.

I think BJ should take this fight, he actually throws combos, and Shields offensive grappling isn't that much better than BJ's defensive grappling. BJ busts Shields up for three rounds and takes at least two rounds, only because I think Jake will have his moments of top control against BJ.

BJ will actually hit him hard, unlike GSP...

BJ via TKO, 2nd round.

In what way? Shields doesn't have the same wrestling credentials as Fitch.

My only worry in this fight is that Penn will gas, otherwise I say he takes the fight.
