Even though it took him a bit longer, another opponent of Lombards felt his "power" and went down hard. Even though it wasn't a clean KO it was a definate TKO. I would love to see Hector in the UFC one day! Everyone Bellator throws at this guy he tears through. I think he is exceding his level of competition at Belator! I hate to say it but whats next??????? What does the PG think. Should Lombard look for finishing out his Belator contract and head to the "big leagues"? I say yes. Bellator is a fine orginization but is still just the Busch league to the UFC. Let Hector go and cultivate/sculpt new talent!

Wasn't he suppose to come to the UFC, then had visa issues and then never got another shot?
Like he was suppose to face Karo, awhile back.

I don't see Lombard doing well in the UFC. Right now he looks good because he is fighting second rate competition, even then he has a tendency to get hit a lot.

Then also it's not like Hector is some young up and coming prospect. He is 33.

But isn't that how it goes.....really? Whopp ass in the busch leagues and dominate, Then go onto the UFC, and see if you can cut it? I never said he was going to step in and crush Silva or anything. I just think he at least deserves a chance in the UFC. And the thing about his age?? I mean Carwin stepped in the UFc at 33 yrs old. And was interim champ for a while.

Lombard would fit in nicely in the UFC. Dude's a beast; he doesn't control his level of competition in Bellator. He could hang with the upper echelon guys in the division in the UFC.
