Jon Olav Einemo (6-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is without an opponent following Brock Lesnar's withdrawal from UFC 131 and Shane Carwin's promotion to headliner opposite Junior Dos Santos.

Einemo's trainer, Golden Glory's Martin De Jong, was unaware of the change when contacted today by MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) and began a scramble for answers with an expletive.

UFC president Dana White said today that Einemo's future is currently undetermined. Asked whether a replacement is on the way for the Norwegian fighter, he said, "Not yet."

It's a real bummer for Jon Olav, but let's be honest: He was only put there to make Carwin look good and hand him a highlight reel ko. I'm aware that he's one of the greatest grapplers of all time, but the man hasn't fought in FOUR YEARS! Best of luck to him, I think that he should return to Bellator he did very well there years ago.

Einemo definitely needs to fight somewhere. I've been hearing about this guy since his signing with UFC. He may not have fought in 4 years, but he's been training with Team Golden Glory that entire time. And those dudes go hard.

Sparring with 'Reem and the boys for a few years would only help his striking game (to say the least), and to go with his ridiculous ground skills.... I'd like to see what he can do!

I'm sure they can find a HW on or off the roster, or move him back an event or so.

I'm starting to think he was never going to fight in the first place.

Kepp thed bjj guy!

MMA needs more bjj guys,

especially who are willing to train at golden glory. It seems like the best bjj guys never get submissions, so bjj is being represented as well as wrestling, boxing striking...

I think the lack of submissions has less to do with the skill of the BJJ fighters and more to do with the submission defence that every fighter learns now.

Two things could happen

Might make sense why rob broughton was mysteriously removed from the peewee herman fight now. Maybe einemo vs broughton

Or two this card took a hit
4 main card fights. And not one single prelim you could add to main card besides edwards vs stout
Could take einemo fight to versus card and switch a main card fight like
Howard vs kammpan and add it to this pay per view

Either way u see it
Edgar vs maynard out
Lesnar out
Ufc will be losing out on a lot of pay per view buys over next two events
They need to add a main card fight to vancouver

You're right, I was looking at a different fighter's record. My bad.
