Two popular welterweights will clash in August at UFC on Versus 5.
Dan Hardy (23-9 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Chris Lytle (30-18-5 MMA, 9-10 UFC), who both are coming off losses, have agreed to meet at the upcoming event, MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed following multiple reports of the fight.
UFC on Versus 5 takes place Aug. 4, and the event now is set for the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The night's main card, including Hardy vs. Lytle, airs live on Versus.

I can picture Lytle trying for a takedown, which is ok with me, his gg is fun to watch.

This is a good idea, could turn out to b FOTN, i absolutely cant stand hardy so I'll go war lytle, but wouldnt be surprized if hardy wins by UD

Hard fight to call. I'd love for Lytle to win but I'm just not too sure. Either way it should be an excellent fight on an already epic free card.

What does the UFC have against Dan Hardy? Most guys would have been given at least one fight to try to get back in the win column. They've done nothing but throw him tough opponents since he lost to GSP. I love Dan, but I think this might be his farewell fight in the UFC.

I agree but u could look at it in a different way. The ufc wants him to get a win against a name so he will still have some drawing power.
I cant think of many fighters that would be a gimmie fight for Hardy actually.
