UFC 134: Rio continues to come together. The event will be held at the HSBC arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 27, 2011. The latest announcement is Paulo Thiago taking on David Mitchell in a welterweight tilt. Sherdog with the news:Welterweight submission specialists Paulo Thiago and David Mitchell have agreed to square off UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro. Thiago informed Sherdog.com of the matchup on Monday evening."I'm signing my contract right now and I'm very happy," said Thiago. "Fighting in Brazil again is like a dream. All my friends and family will be in Rio de Janeiro."LINK

I thought Mitchell was going to be coming into his UFC debut, but just fumbled and he's got a tough fight here with Paulo.
My guess is the loser wont have a job after this fight unless they have an amazing fight. Both havent fought in a while, Mitchell since 9/2010 and Paulo 10/2010.
Prolly take Paulo, it would seem he has the better stand up and wrestling and maybe ground to hang with Mitchell and his 9 sub wins.

And with belfort, w silva and aldo not on this card
Big nog and machida should be added
5th fight may be pearson vs barboza

I can't hate on Thiago for his losses. He lost against quality competition, and he will probably run through Mitchell.

It was also confirmed that Rousimar Palhares was slated to fight on this card, but no opponent has been named yet.
