Something seemed off with Henderson, besides the weight. He didn't seem to look as confident as he usually does before a fight. I guess just a difficult weight cut for him this time around.

I thought Homonick was going to have to cut that .25 lbs, because I thought you have to be exactly at the weight for a title fight.

The Wolverine claw was a nice touch.

I hope not....I have Bendo by UD.

Jake & GSP came in under 170.....impressive

* Is it me or did Jake look a tad drained?

He looked very drained, which makes my pick of gsp stopping him look much better

That was what I was thinking too. I wonder why he didn't have too.

Shields did look a little drained. His cardio better be top notch against GSP. cuz GSP is a machine. Couture actually looked a liitle sucked up to.

Shields looked drained against Kampmann too, and look how that turned out. Just wasn't the same Shields we saw at Middleweight. I read an article somewhere that mentioned the weight cut will be the downfall of Shields, and it may be true. If GSP beats him, which I believe he will, I hope Shields moves back up to Middleweight.

lGlad to hear Henderson made it. Personally I have never heard of somebody weighing .25 over, do you think that if it's not .5 they usually dont mention it? Just watching Shields vs Henderson onUFC Unleashed (sweet advantage of the merge). Does anybody think GSP wouldnt have beaten Dan too. I think he is an older, slower, less explosive version of Koscheck with less lower leg defense from his Greco background, plus no hips to escape from the bottom . I don't really see any of Shield's big victories being anything GSP couldn't have done better. If GSP can defend the single leg I don't see Jake getting it to the mat.

I think it's different for each atheletic commission. But watching the weigh-ins it seemed like rogan and burt were unsure too is Homonick was going to have to lose that .25 lb, but prolly just had to get the towel and Homonick would have made 145.
