So am I the only one who thinks this is Nogueira's last chance to preserve his career with the UFC? I see, Franklin taking a hard fought UD, probably to a score of 29-28 on all three scored cards.

I really like this match up. Couldn't have come at a better time for these two fighters. Even if Lil Nog does lose, I don't think the UFC will cut him. He will be like the Akiyama of the Light Heavyweights.
Franklin will probably take it by decision, after getting rocked with a solid hook sometime in the second round and recovering enough to score a takedown.

Ill take an avatar bet that Nogueira stops him. Franklin will never win against this type of style.

I'm gonna have to go with Franklin. IMO if Franklin tries to trade power shots with Nogueira or dive headfirst into his guard, Nogueira wins, but if the fight goes any other way it's Franklin's fight to win.

I think this is a better match up for Lil Nog than Franklin. I think Lil Nog is less mobile but has a slight edge striking and while not a big submission guy he still is the better technical BJJ fighter.

Except that Lil Nog is dramatically slower than he used to be (or maybe we just thought he was faster?). I think Franklin has many more tools on the feet than Nog does.
