Does that mean the baby/foetus or whatever also has a professional record of 1-0?

I suppose she could have been prosecuted for some sort of negligence if the baby was hurt.

It'd be pretty hard to convict someone of negligence in this case. You'd have to prove that she was aware that she was pregnant.

Yeah that's exactly what I was going to say. I'm pretty sure you can't be considered to be negligent if you aren't even aware of its existence to begin with.

That would mean that baby had been kicking butt even before they where born..................

I suppose so, at that early stage of pregnancy it is easy to no know, or not be sure.

The actual test is whether she knew or should have known. But in this case I don't think there is much of an argument that she should have known.
BUT, the Athletic Commission should be ashamed of themselves. There should be a pregnancy test for all females before fighting.
EDIT: After reading it again, I realize that this fight didn't take place in the US, which explains the lapse in testing by a commission. Still, no matter where the fight is taking place, they need to make sure that female fighters are not pregnant before going into a fight.

This sounds like an explanation to how Chuck Norris was born.

This may have been said, it's old new (yeah I am little out of loop which is why I am here catching up on MMA news)
From what I read on a yahoo article, she was tested twice for pregnancy. Once when she was having a hard time cutting weight and another time before she got an x-ray.
The extreme level of activity athletes undergo in training can affect hormone levels, which can affect tests involving hormone related things. Some women do not end up ovulating altogether. Taking that into consideration and that some regular women do not have confirmation of pregnancy well into their second month, it doesn't surprise me.
All in all I think the x-ray would be more damaging to the "baby" than the fight.
