Longtime UFC fighter Marcus Davis snapped a two-fight losing streak Friday, defeating Curtis Demarce at Maximum FC 29 in Ontario, Canada.

The split decision win was Davis' first fight outside of the UFC after competing 14 straight times in the UFC over the last four years.

In the two co-headlining bouts, Douglas Lima defended his welterweight title against Terry Martin, while Ryan Jimmo won the light heavyweight title over Zak Cummings.

I went 4-0 last night

Heard davis got cut up again
I can't recall the last fight where davis didn't get cut open and bleed everywhere

Other than Martin it seems all the ex-UFC guys had moderate success last night......Jimmo is ready to step up in competition I think.

He had something like 4 distinctive cuts on his face by the time the fight was done. Great fight.

Yeah, there were some nice fights last night. I think Martin should retire. He wasn't brutally ko'd but damn, he keeps getting dropped.

Davis looked decent. He was fighting a tough guy.

I was there, my home town...yeah Davis got cut again. Davis landed alot of serious knees to Demarce in that fight but Demarce kept pressing but Davis clearly won the decision.
The hometown fighters went 1-2 Ali Mokdad is for real, 4-0 four submission wins. and the Lima Brothers awesome, Douglas Lima's knock out was on point, 1st round boom to the temple, out.
