He lost to a semi nobody, and Stefan Struve. I would say the cut can be fair, but I would have gave him another shot.

The heavyweight division in the UFC has about fifteen active fighters, so it has less room for keeping on losers.
If McCorkle can't beat Morecraft, whom could he beat? Maybe Beltran, but nobody else.

Eh, I would give Morecraft a little more credit. You have to remember he was putting the beatdown on Struve before the come-from-behind knockout.
