SAN DIEGO -- MMA Fighting spoke to Nick Diaz on Thursday about his welterweight title fight against Paul Daley at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley, why he took this fight on short notice, his feelings towards Daley and why he isn't fighting Fernando Vargas in a boxing match.

WOW just WOW they shouldn't ever let him talk anymore.

I've always thought of a few "Over"-related words that I associate with Diaz, but overworked and overtrained weren't any of them.

Dude needs to screw his head on straight. Ariel Helwani isn't the one who jumps in the ring after people's fights to start crap. He sounded so lost in that video. That just leads me to believe that Daley is probably going to work him on Saturday.

Dang, underpaid and overworked, but I make a lot of money. Which one is it. uh, uh uh, I don't think he likes the fact that he is part of the UFC again.

And I thought I was bad ranting a tirade at work here and there
Diaz needs to stay focused for daley.
And not worry about the merger and ufc.
His contract is with strikeforce when it is up. No one is making go to the ufc
He could just go over seas and fight in dream.

Wow, he really should be kept away from the media. He fights at the most 3 times a year! How does this man function in real life!?

Lmao, exactly what I was thinking... The guy is an idiot and a thug. He talks like he's ****** up on meth most of the time. To say I dislike Nick Diaz is a massive understatement. I won't take anything away from his fighting ability. He's great, there's no hiding that but as a human being I have 0 respect for him.

You hit the nail on the head. He talks like a 3rd grader. Guy needs to get off his high horse, I hope Daley helps him with that.

I always feel like his interviews should be done on a street corner in Stockton. He was treating Ariel like he was the corner drug dealer who sold his little sister crack. "You sold my sister crack, I know its hard on these streets and you gotta make money but I don't like how you sold it to my sister....you understand what I'm sayin?" Like I have said 1000 times before how about you learn defensive wrestling and not end up on your back? I know why cause it sucks its the least fun part of this sport other then conditioning and almost no one other then guys who wrestled all thier lives want to put in the work.
