Ricardo Almeida threw away some of the prime years of his career when he didn't compete between 2004-2008 after his first retirement.

I have always questioned how long a guy who retired in his prime would last upon his return. Now we know.

Ricardo deserves props for what he has done in his career, but he could have accomplished more imo.

Wow that's unexpected Ricardo was always an entertaining fighter to watch his jiu jitsu was some of the best ufc has ever seen respect to Ricardo he had a great career inside and out of the octagon.

I totally agree.

Its sad to see him go. There aren't enough good jiu jitsu guys in MMA anymore. (I blame biased judges.)
