Some 400 hopefuls turned out today at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott in Newark, N.J., to audition for the 14th season of "The Ultimate Fighter."
Seen in the crowd were a few familiar faces: UFC vet Din Thomas, who appeared on the show's fourth season, and WEC vets Wagnney Fabiano, Micah Miller and Ian McCall.
"The Ultimate Fighter 14," which begins production this summer and debuts in the fall on Spike TV, is expected to feature bantamweight and/or featherweight fighters. It's the first time the reality show has featured competitors in the UFC's lightest weight classes.

Lots of top talent here. Micah having to go through TUF is like Nelson having to go through TUF though... Not saying he'll win the entire thing but he has definitely earned a spot in the ufc without having to go through TUF. I hope they don't let Kope on. I have a bad feeling they will though...

Also really hope they let in Alex Villa, olympic level boxer. He is going up to 135 for the show but more quality to the house.

I hope they pick up some of that great talent in the BW/FW divisions and don't just give us another season of "personalities" with little chance of making an impact.
The last few seasons have given us 2-3 guys at most that have a shot at making a legitimate impact in the UFC. They have a chance to load up on talent in a way not seen since BJ v Pulver.
If Fabiano gets in, he's my pick to win it.

I wouldnt mind seeing Din,Wag and Micah on TUF or just in the UFC for that matter, just to help beef up these lighter classes.

I don't know, I think this season will be very good. Unfortunately I don't see the Brock VS JDS season being very good.

Hopefully a few UK guys can get on this season. There is some good talent at the lighter weights over here. For the sake of new up and coming talent I hope the younger applicants are not overlooked because veteran fighters with a name also applied.
