"Well first I wasn’t going to take it because I wanted some downtime after this training camp but my team spoke about it and we’re confident that we’ve got a good game for this fight and this is the right decision for us."

I think I'm looking forward to Daley vs. Diaz more than anything the UFC has scheduled at the moment.

It'd be interesting to see Diaz knocked out. Or even rocked. I can't remember the last time a fighter rocked him.

2 out of 3 of Daleys last losses have come by wrestlers, not just any wrestlers, NCAA Division wrestlers, I do not believe Diaz has the kinda of takedowns to take this fight to the ground, It is a standard Striker Vs Submissionist Style match very much like Georgeyboy just discovered against Dennis Siver, in order for Diaz to take this fight down he's going to have to do what Wedrum did and make it feel convincing when clipped and slip, so Daley takes the bait.

I either see Daley KOing Diaz at any stage in the fight or Diaz Subbing Daley really late in the fight.

"Paul Daley is going to smash Nick Diaz and take his belt on April 9" I for one, agree

Dailey definately can KO Diaz!
but Diaz looks like a monster lately! and he is the champ! and a more deserving champ than Dailey could (ne)ever be!
So war Diaz war!
Diaz via Diazplata!

Diaz by armbar late in the first or early in the second.

It won't take Nick long to realize he doesn't want to stand with Daley and once the fight hits the mat Daley is screwed.

I would love to see daley pull this off after all he has the "uncanny ability to turn strikers into wrestlers" when they feel his power. War semtex

If diaz tries to pepper him with pillow fists he is gonna get knocked out
He needs to drag him to the ground and sub him out
Ask hazelett and kammpman what they think he should do

This will be a tough test for Nick Diaz, his toughest test since Gomi, I'd say. I really hope he does it. Ever since Daley's sucker punch of Koscheck, I have no respect for Daley. He is a tough dude, but I feel he has no class, and no respect for the game. He has missed weight in what, five of his last eleven fights?

War Diaz

Instead of quoting one of you Ill just make a general response to all of you. Who has ever knocked out Diaz? Not rocked him but knocked him out? All of you saying hes gonna get koed must not know who Nick Diaz is.

Only way Diaz loses is to stoppage via cuts. Guarantee.

Hate4TheState is right.

Nick Diaz has never been, nor will he ever be, knocked out.

Semtex and Leben could simultaneously land left hooks on Diaz and he would still be standing with both hands in the air while informing the audience of Stockton's greatness.

I respect diazs chin just as much as anyones up there with hendo and penn, but saying he can't be knocked out is being unrealistic. Anyone can be knocked out, not saying it's going to come this fight but eventually his chin will wear down. If anyone outside the ufc can knock out nick its semtex.
