Strikeforce champion and best pound for pound female MMA fighter of the world, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos is negotiating with world’s biggest pro-wrestling company, WWE, sources close to the fighter told TATAME minutes ago.

Without fighting since June of 2010, Cyborg is getting tired of the lack of fights in the MMA organization, and this proposal would change her future in fighting – and get bigger paychecks.

Two weeks ago, Cristiane and her husband, Strikeforce fighter Evangelista Santos, attended to a WWE event in California, and the managers of the event offered her a contract.

Please god dont let that happen. Cant blame her really, theres such a lack of competition in womens MMA she may aswell use the talent she has and make alot more money with it.

Unbelievably she's only 25.

She could spend the next 3 or 4 years making money in wrestling while the division catches up to her, and then dominate into her mid 30s.

Smart move.

Sadley I don't think this will effect her at all, no ones near her level the division needs the time to shape up.

If womens MMA can boom in the next few years, Cyborg taking a vacation, then returning to MMA could prove a big ticket. Especially if she can make an impact in the WWE. That's hypothetical of course.

I can't blame her one bit. WWE needs legit female athletes and not just pretty faces, and Cyborg could hit it big with her athleticism.

When she's done up, I think she looks hot. I'd stream that porn.

To the thread subject, I don't blame her. I said on another thread that the problem with WMMA is the divide from champions to challengers. Everyone was sipping Carano's kool-aid. I absolutely knew Cyborg was going to beat the brakes off of her.

She hasn't had a legitimate challenge since and all the women that COULD challenge her can't make her weight class.
