This past Saturday, April 21st, many fight fans across the world watched the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on either pay per view (in England) or basic cable (in the US). Roberto Cepeda, however, chose to spend his night taking in some local action in Chicago, IL at the International Mixed Martial Arts Competition’s (IMMAC) second ever show in the UIC Pavilion and he seemed to like what he saw. -Editor
IMMAC put on a good show this past Saturday, at the University of Illinois Chicago, Pavilion. This MMA show had eleven matches of high quality fighters. Some of the Midwest’s best fight schools were represented. Carlson Gracie Jr., Gilbert Grappling, Hackney. The fighters seemed well- rounded, many with grappling and striking skills well above the local MMA circuit level.
