The full fight card for April's heavily anticipated UFC 129 event is set with the addition of a Jason Brilz vs. Vladimir Matyushenko bout.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the fight this past week, and UFC executives since have made it official.

The bout retains its spot on the night's pay-per-view main card, which takes place April 29 at Toronto's Rogers Centre

As someone who is going to this show and a fan of both guys I'm pleased it made the main card, Brilz should have been given the decision over Lil Nog and has a real underrated ground game while Matyushenko's skills speak for themselves. Im confidant that this one's going to a decision and believe it will been an entertaining fight wherever it is contested.

I always love seeing Vlady fight. Vlad has paid his dues, he doesn't need to be relegated to prelims.

He takes every fight he's offered and does his job without bitching or moaning. For that matter, he pretty much does his job without saying ANYTHING.

He's 6-3 in the UFC and his only losses have come to former champions and the current number 1 contender.

I think he's earned his place on the main card.

You know, im pretty sure most ppv card's with GSP tend to have a weak supporting cast, not necassarily in the Main event, but throughout the main card and preliminaries.

Haven't seen Brilz fight for awhile should be a good matchup. It's going to be tough for either to get a takedown so this might be a slugfest. If it turns to that I give the edge to Vladdy. He's got the much better hands.

Funny how this fight couldn't make a germany free main card with no ufc stars on the card but yet it makes the biggest ufc to date sell out main card in canada

I'm never one to complain about fights, if you look threw my posts you don't see me complain about the product the ufc gives us. That being said I completely agree, I understand peoples point about vlad paying his dues but that still doesn't mean we have to be excited about his main card treatment. This fight may turn out to be good but truth is this isn't really main card worthy despite that brillz could have beat nog. This fight doesn't carry either name value or an overall exciting clash of styles which atleast one is ussually needed for a main card and this isn't just any card this is supposed to shatter records across the bored. I'm more worried about a first time fan watching this fight and being turned off by the sport watching to slow unexplosive wrestlers jock for position for 15 mins. And we all know there will be first time mma viewers for a card of this magnitude
