Contrary to popular belief, the UFC middleweight division has not quite cornered the market on making strategically advantageous call-outs. While the world’s 185-pound fighters are lining up to let everybody know how much they’d all love to fight Michael Bisping – which is like so 2010 – their light heavyweight brethren are also making requests of UFC matchmaker Joe Silva. It seems that at least a couple of 205-pounders have been spending some time on the “Fighters” page over at UFC.com and thinking to themselves, “Let’s see here, who can I beat?”
Ryan Bader, for one, emerged this week from whatever dark room he’s been huddled in, rocking back and forth since UFC 126 to tell ESPN.com he’d very much like to fight Tito Ortiz. Cuz, why not? Sure, just a withered shell of his former self, Ortiz hasn’t won a fight since 2006, is barely clinging to his career and seemingly can’t make it to the cage without a serious back injury, cracked skull or giant laceration over his eye, but still … fighting him would mean A LOT to Bader. You know, on a personal level.
“I would want to fight Tito Ortiz,” Bader told Brett Okamoto. “Just because I grew up watching him. I want to have one of those guys on my résumé like a Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Purely out of respect, he’s one I’d like to fight before my career is over.”

I say try to make it happen, and I give my best wishes. I'd love nothing more than to see Bader completely annihilate Ortiz.
Doubt it would go through, though. Ortiz would suffer another "injury" and go back to calling out Liddell.

Its some sort of sexy MMA fight triangle! Could it be the first 3 in a cage UFC match?!

As much as I dislike tito I wouldn't want to see this fight, bader is at the top of the division while tito hasn't won a fight in a very long time. The forrest fight id like to see if tito can get a win first. I personally think a vera fight intrests me and the ufc gets rid of one over payed under producing fighter. If not I see a possible franklin fight or the winner of brillz vlad.

Forrest is a better matchup for Tito stylistically, Bader will Hammil Tito
If Brandon Vera comes back, Tito vs Vera would be the best fight Tito could be in, Krystof or Bonnar may work if not Vera
Forrest vs Bader makes sense also
I am still holding out for Thiago Silva...whats the news on that?

I actually said Vera on another forum I use right after the UFC announced he would get another shot.
I said something to the effect of this:
Vera is the perfect fight for Tito because the UFC wants to cut both of them. Loser goes home and the winner gets a tougher opponent that they will most likely lose to. Not to mention, Vera vs. Tito would make for a great "main event" at like a UFC on Versus or Spike. It's got the name power for the ratings, but it's still free for us fans who know these two are clearly backsliding.

I definetally like the idea of a Vera vs. Ortiz matchup. Would be a good fight. I also like the Griffin vs. Bader idea. Two very intresting matchups. Lets hope that both happen.
