Leading Japanese promotion Sengoku Raiden Championship has lost its second top fighter in two weeks.
SRC middleweight champion Jorge Santiago was the first to go and today, MMA Fighting has confirmed that heavyweight prospect Dave "Pee-Wee" Herman (20-2) has left the promotion and has already signed with the UFC.

nice. I have been waiting for this guy to go to the big leaugues, however I havent followed his career since elite xc. Nice pick up, especially to boost the lower tier of HW competition.
Sylvia and Rizzo should be acquired also, to boost the lower tier of the hw division in my opinion.

i said this when news of Santiago left..n i'll say it again..SRC is goin to fold..u can't complete wit a bigger name like Dream/FEG when mma is dyin in Japan..so fighters are gon go to the States or Dream..bottom line..by the end of 2011..there will be no more SRC..

Pee Wee is a great addition, reminds me a little of B. Schaub.....a little raw and rough around the edges but gritty, tough strong and powerful striking......he should get past Rob.
