Fresh off a UFC-debut victory, Miguel Torres (39-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) next meets fellow bantamweight Brad Pickett (20-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at UFC 130.
Torres overnight Tweeted that he was offered and accepted the fight, which HeavyMMA.com initially reported.
UFC 130 takes place May 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It's the UFC's latest Memorial Day weekend show based in Sin City.
The night's main card, including a third fight between UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, airs on pay-per-view. Torres vs. Pickett likely will be part of a preliminary card that will air or stream in some fashion.

That's a fight that interests me, I think it's a good test for Torres and sends him in the right direction.

I'm a fan of Pickett but I think Torres takes the decision with his height.

Well, thanks to all the uneducated fans who flooded Dana's Twitter about how Torres is boring, he now has to settle for the prelims.
Which sucks for the me and the rest of the Torres fans, because this fight has the potiential to be FOTN. Pickett always comes to fight, and he might bring out the brawling side of Torres.
If he doesn't decide to brawl, he will use his new technical style like he's done in his last two fights, which you can't blame him for. When a fighter is knocked out, they usually bring in a new more defense style, just as Torres has done. I don't mind the new style at all, I enjoy watching his technical boxing just as much as his brawling.
