Dana White was asked tonight in the UFC 126 post-fight press conference if Anderson Silva’s next opponent would be Georges St. Pierre. White answered, “If Georges wins his fight, that’ll probably be the fight we do”.

Gonna see Silva drop a couple rounds before he cements his status as GOAT.

I'm not holding my breath. When it's inked, I'll believe it.

I don't think Dana can force GSP to move up in weight, and GSP has shown no interest in the fight. The media is putting alot of pressure on GSP and Dana though. I guess it has to happen sooner or later, but I still think GSP will avoid it.
Now that Roger Gracie is training with GSP , Shields is pretty much screwed, so we'll find out soon enough.

as Ive said many times, silva is way too big for GSP, I mean, look at the size difference between silva and belfort and belfort is a LHW, it would be like GSP fighting Aldo, Georges shouldnt take the fight, the paycheck would be great, but i dont see him winning.

I'd might rather see Silva fight the winner of Shogun/Jones

I think to say GSP has shown "no interest" and being "pressured" into the fight is a bit of an overstatement. I cant remember the exact interview, but I recall GSP being excited about the challenge (not to mention the pay day).
I may be a minority here, but I think GSP can win that fight. Did everyone forget Silva vs Sonnen already?

I feel bad for okami once again getting the shaft
I think gsp needs to bulk up before he goes to 185
This fight could happen in nov or dec. Then have silva fight okami over the summer then

Oh nobody cares about Okami...lol
I wonder whether GSP is up for that fight at this point? From what I've heard him say, I'd guess he's not

I feel for Okami man, dude gives it all, exciting or not, racks up wins, and gets seemingly no respect, dude deserves his shot.

He said the same thing with the Alves fight. He's just promoting his fight with Shields. I doubt GSP will vacate his title right now.
