It's the 3rd Strike 3 for Tim Hague today, as he confirmed he's been cut by UFC for the third time in his career. After being TKO'd by Matt Mitrione at UFC FFTT 2, Hague is now only 1-4 career in UFC. He said he intends to make it back for a 4th time but for now will take a break and consider dropping to 205.

I'm just not sure a guy with his frame has a shot to make 205......but I've been wrong before

I honestly think they only brought him back so that Mitrione could use him as punching bag and add another win to his record. After Dos Santos they will be short on title contenders and they probably see Mitrione as a hopeful prospect. He has the personality fans will follow, and maybe even the skills. Now we just need to see what he can do against someone in the top 10.

I would like to see Hauge at 205, not cause I think he will do well just to see if he could actually make it!

Its a shame. He's one of my fav's on the Canadian scene. KO'd Wiuff and subbed Pat Barry, just couldnt put it together lately for some reason.

I like both guys but I was hoping Hague would show up there. Mitrione looked better than ever though. I'm guessing that's the end of the Hague and UFC's on-again-off-again relationship.

The guy is a Seth Petrazelli....he's got all the skills but just can't do it for the UFC.....I don't think he has a HW chin either, Wiuff has been known to fight regularly at LHW.
