That's what KenFlo had to say on Pro MMA Radio last night in response to recent comments on the show by Guillard. "It doesn't make sense. There's a lot of guys working hard. It's who the best fighter is. If Melvin thinks he deserves a shot over me, he should fight me and beat me. It's always about who the best fighter is. Who has he beaten? What has he done? That's great he's finally considered a top contender. Losing to Joe Stevenson in the first round isn't gonna get you that shot. You have to be consistent. He has to separate himself from the pack. I would take that fight."

I disagree. Now that there's a "new" champ in the division, I see no reason why he shouldn't get another shot as long as he earns it.

I think theres a pretty decent list of guys at the top of the 155 division.

As much as these 2 are talking about eachother as potential #1 contenders matches, I don't think anyone deserves a shot at the strap more than Jim Miller.

George S. is right there with Miller IMO. There are a lot of contenders at 155 right now, and any one of the guys near the top have a chance to beat the others on any given night. It's the most interesting division in the UFC by far as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed. Though I wouldn't argue if Sotiropoulous got one before Miller as I think both are more than deserving.

And Florian has quite a ways to go before he gets another shot considering his coming off a loss. Well, unless he goes to Strikeforce where he's pretty much guaranteed a shot right away.

I would put Miller and Sotiropoulous ahead of Florian right now too, as well as Clay Guida.

Not sure, but within the next year or two I'm guessing we'll see a few familiar names at LW make the move.

I'd like to see Florian fight Guillard. I'm getting a little sick of florian lately though, I don't think he'll ever hold the belt. Guillard would probably KO him but is at serious risk to be submitted.

Sotiropoulos, Miller, the winner of Pettis/Guida and Guillard (if he keeps winning) are the fighters I want to see get shots at the title this year and next.

Have Florian face Sherk again, and if he beats him, then again in a rubber match. Tie those two up for the foreseeable future.
