When preparing for a fight with Pat Barry, opponents usually find few (if any) training partners that can mimic the noted striker's unique and challenging style.
Joey Beltran, though, recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio he found just the man he needed.
Beltran, who meets Barry on the Spike TV main card of Saturday's "UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2" event at Fort Hood in Texas, employed Lew Polley. Or, as Beltran calls him, "BlackBarry."

"I think that will serve me OK in this fight," he said. "I'll take a leg kick if I can hit him in the face five times."
That's a big IF...I think a couple of leg kicks will change his mind rather quickly.

I've seen Lew Polley fight and I have a hard time seeing how the guy could possibly help Beltran prepare for Pat Barry. A guy being physically similar looking to another guy doesn't mean he is going to fight anything remotely like him.
