Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver (22-14-1) will whet his appetite for an expected March fight with another booking later this month just outside of Chicago.

Now-featherweight Pulver is set to headline XFO 38 opposite Mike Lindquist (6-19) on Jan. 22 at the Woodstock Harley Davidson in Woodstock, Ill.

It's the former champ's second fight since being released from the now-defunct WEC following a stretch of five losses.

yeah, it almost makes me think Jens has a shot.... Although I can't say enough regarding the heart someone must have to still fight professionally with a record WORSE than a .333 W-L average! I know nothing about him but he must love to fight!

jeez...i like pulver, but thats sad....6-19, main event... i guess he's really struggling for money... he needs some professional help in how to earn money other than fighting in the ring...stay in the fight business, but he's killing his "legacy", or if not legacy, at least what he could ahve been remembered as
